We eventually bought a metal seal to place on top of the rubber seal within the valve in addition to plumbers tape to stop the leak...Finally. Since we solved the issue, hopefully the second faucet will be easier to install. Upon opening, the second faucet was discolored so had to return it and waiting on the replacement
